Perform the test while fasting for more accurate results. Make sure at least 12 hours have passed since your last meal before testing.
Meter coding (for total cholesterol or uric acid tests):
The Wellion LUNA Trio meter must be coded before performing a test with total cholesterol or uric acid test strips for the first time, or whenever a new box of strips is opened.
There are different types of test strips (glucose, total cholesterol, and uric acid) compatible with the Wellion LUNA Trio. Only total cholesterol and uric acid strips come with a coding strip to calibrate the meter. Glucose strips do not require coding.
It is not necessary to code the LUNA Trio meter before using glucose strips.
Each time you insert a test strip, check that the code number and test mode displayed on the screen match the vial label.
Check whether the mode is CHOL or UA, and that the code matches the one on the vial.
Insert the coding strip into the meter’s port and wait for the code to appear on the screen.
Ensure that the displayed code and test mode (CHOL or UA) match the vial.
Remove the coding strip using the eject button. The 😀 symbol confirms correct coding of the device.
Total cholesterol measurement:
To preserve the quality of unused strips, always keep them in their original vial and close it immediately after removing one. Use each strip immediately after opening.
Remove one Wellion LUNA total cholesterol test strip from the vial and close the cap right away. Insert the strip into the meter to switch it on.
⚠️ Note: Do not press the reaction area when inserting the strip, as this may cause inaccurate results.
Check that the CHOL icon appears on the display, confirming that the total cholesterol mode is active. If not, remove and reinsert the strip until CHOL is shown.
A code will appear on the screen and must match the code on the vial. If not, recode the meter and reinsert the strip.
Carefully dip the tip of the Wellion LUNA strip into the drop of blood. The strip will automatically absorb approximately 0.8 microliters of blood. You can remove your finger once you hear the beep indicating that enough blood has been collected.

Muy facil de utilizar , Medidor para glucosa, acido urico y colesterol. Lo unico malo es que las tiras de acido urico y colesterol son caras y pocas unidades. Pero funciona muy bien.
