With the Wellion LUNA Trio meter, you can safely and reliably measure your blood sugar level. Optionally, it can also measure cholesterol and uric acid levels: the Wellion LUNA Trio system offers all three options. Depending on the parameter to be tested, different Wellion LUNA test strips are required. Meter coding (for total cholesterol or uric acid tests):

The Wellion LUNA Trio meter must be coded before performing a test with total cholesterol or uric acid test strips for the first time, or whenever a new box of strips is opened.

There are different types of test strips (glucose, total cholesterol, and uric acid) compatible with the Wellion LUNA Trio meter. Only the total cholesterol and uric acid test strips come with a coding strip to calibrate the device. Glucose test strips do not require coding.

It is not necessary to code the LUNA Trio meter before using glucose strips.
Each time you insert a test strip, check that the code number and test mode displayed on the screen match the test mode and code on the test strip vial.
Check whether the test mode is CHOL or UA and that the code matches the vial.
Insert a coding strip into the meter’s test port and wait until the code appears on the screen.
Ensure that the displayed code and test mode (CHOL or UA) match the ones on the vial.
Remove the coding strip using the eject button. The 😀 symbol appears on the screen, confirming that the device has been correctly coded for total cholesterol or uric acid measurement.
