Comprinet pro is an anti-embolic stocking that prevents Deep Vein Thrombosis, reactivating and accelerating the speed of blood flow and helps reduce venous stasis in patients with prolonged periods of immobilization. The skin-friendly and air-permeable fabric provides unique comfort. Anti-embolic stocking (prevention of deep vein thrombosis), indicated for patients who need to remain in bed for long periods of time, with reduced mobility, either due to surgical procedures or due to some health condition. Long periods without mobility impair blood circulation. The muscles that help venous return are inactive, which increases the risk of circulatory diseases. INDICATIONS
Prophylaxis of Deep Vein Thrombosis in surgical patients and in patients who require long periods of immobilization.
MODE OF ACTION
It continuously provides a decreasing pressure gradient from distal to proximal, from 22 mmHg at level "b", ankle, to 12 mmHg at level 2g", thigh, with a pressure drop from 60%
DURATION OF THE APPLICATION
During the day and night, from days to weeks, depending on the patient's risk of developing Deep Vein Thrombosis.
Its main features are:
- It does not move, does not fall or form folds, thanks to its non-slip band on the thigh (even when the patient begins to perform early mobilization exercises).
- It allows a practical follow-up, since the opening on the back of the fingers allows to control the correct blood circulation and facilitates palpations easily and quickly.
- Great anatomical adaptation, thanks to its special fabric with high elasticity in two directions, longitudinal and transversal, which makes the stocking fit perfectly to the leg.
- It continuously provides a decreasing pressure gradient from distal to proximal, giving the maximum pressure of 18mmHg in the ankle.
