Perform the test on an empty stomach for more accurate results. Make sure at least 12 hours have passed since your last meal before measuring.
Instructions:
- Take a Wellion LUNA blood glucose test strip from the test strip container and close it immediately. Insert the test strip into the meter to turn it on. The display shows the "Gluc" symbol, the flashing blood drop symbol and the test strip symbol.
- Press the lancing device (with a new lancet) laterally against the fingertip and press the release button to lance and obtain the drop of blood.
- Now hold the tip of the test strip slightly angled toward the blood sample. The test strip sucks blood like a straw. The meter beeps to let you know when there is enough blood for the test. The screen shows the countdown and after 5 seconds the result is shown on the screen.
Useful tips:

- Avoid direct sunlight and heat. Store test strips in a cool, dry environment (not in the bathroom).
- Write the opening date on the label of the test strip bottle. Discard remaining test strips 9 months after first opening.
