Fast thanks to infrared technology
The measurement sensor detects the infrared radiation emanating from the eardrum or the front surface and reproduces the ear measurement result within one second. In the case of forehead measurement, the highest recognized measurement value is displayed after the end of the scanning process.

Readings in the ear:

The reading can be done in the right or left ear. The thermometer measures infrared rays emitted by the eardrum and ear canal. These rays are collected by the sensor and converted into temperature values. The best results are obtained when infrared rays are collected in the middle ear (eardrum). Rays emitted by surrounding tissue give lower readings. Furthermore, to ensure hygienic temperature measurement in the ear, the original Veroval® protective covers must always be used.

Forehead readings:

The thermometer measures the infrared rays emitted by the skin in the forehead area and the temples and surrounding tissue. The rays are collected by the sensors and converted into temperature values. The most accurate values are obtained by scanning the entire area from temple to temple.
