Cultivated since ancient times for its medicinal properties, they have been found in Egyptian tombs dated around 1000 BC. Mentha arvensis is a species of mint that belongs to the Lamiaceae family. It is a herbaceous plant with an outstanding aroma, it measures from 10 to 60 cm and has whorled flowers located in the axil of the stems. The leaves are oval, pointed and toothed. This perennial plant flowers from July to September and prefers places with little sun, marshes and moist meadows.
