Main components of Natalben Preconceptive:

Folic acid and Vitamin B12: Folic acid supplementation is recommended from the moment a pregnancy is planned, since it favors their normal development. A supplementary intake of folic acid increases the level of maternal folate. A low amount of maternal folate is a risk factor for neural tube defects in the developing fetus. This beneficial effect is reported to be obtained with a supplemental daily intake of folic acid of 400 µg for at least one month before conception and up to three months after conception. In addition, folic acid and vitamin B12 contribute to the process of cell division.

Vitamin D: Contributes to the normal absorption and use of calcium and the process of cell division. Its contribution to the diet helps to achieve adequate levels of vitamin D.

Iodine: Contributes to normal cognitive function. It is recommended to provide it to women from the moment they plan pregnancy.
