Description of ingredients:
– Echinacea: InmunoGreen contains a mixture of Echinacea purpurea and Echinacea angustifolia root. Both strengthen the immune system to fight against bacteria, viruses and fungi. E. angustifolia contains echinacoside, with antiviral and antibacterial properties demonstrated in in vitro studies. However, this active ingredient has been shown to not be responsible for the immunological qualities of the plant. The presence of arabinogalactan-type polysaccharides is responsible for the immunostimulating effect. The root of E. purpurea is rich in polyphenols and is useful in recurrent infections of the upper respiratory tract and lower urinary tract.
– Astragalus: its root is widely used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, with immunostimulating, antibacterial and antiviral properties, among others, thanks to its polysaccharide content. Helps in cases of weakness or lack of appetite. Increases the production of leukocytes, TNF-α, interleukin-6 and interferon. Due to this, it is not recommended in animals with autoimmune pathologies or under treatment with immunosuppressants. In addition, its isoflavone and saponin content has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant action.
– Quercetin: flavonoid with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action. It is present, naturally, in various vegetables.
– Zinc: Zinc is necessary for the correct functioning of the immune system. It favors the production of cytokines, B lymphocytes and antibodies, especially IgG. Increases the number and activity of macrophages. It is also a direct antiviral because it prevents the action of enzymes necessary for viral replication. Zinc has been shown to have an antiviral effect on different virus species. When it is deficient, the probability of respiratory infection increases.
– Selenium, Vitamin E and C: as antioxidants, very necessary in case of inflammation and infection. Selenium also allows the action of neutrophils and the synthesis of antibodies, improving the immune response to foreign elements.
– Group B vitamins: to promote the health of the immune system and to prevent anemia.
