The oral solution designed for cats and small dogs contains dry extract of: Milk thistle (Sylibum marianum) (≥80% silymarin; ≥30% silybin + isosibilin), Dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale), Turmeric Rhizome Cursol®, (Curcuma longa L.), Artichoke (Cynara scolymus) (≥ 2.5% cynarin), Desmodium ascendens, Boldo (Peumus Boldus), Vitamin E, Vitamin B1, B6, B9 and B12 and Zinc sulfate.
DESCRIPTION OF INGREDIENTS:
Milk thistle (Sylibum marianum): it is hepatoprotective and detoxifying. It contains silymarin, a flavonoid complex formed by several substances (silybin, silicristin and silydianin), which are antioxidants and neutralize free radicals.
Dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale): source of vitamins A, C, E and K, as well as group B vitamins and minerals such as iron. Protects the liver from hepatotoxic substances and improves digestion
Artichoke (Cynara scolymus): its cynarin favors bile secretion and makes it more fluid, which decongests the liver.
Desmodium adscendens: plant with hepatoprotective action, normalizes hepatic metabolism and increases appetite.
Boldo (Peumus boldus): protective plant for the liver and gallbladder. Supports fat metabolism and is a diuretic. It acts together with Desmodium, promoting stomach well-being.
Turmeric: specifically a turmeric with high bioavailability and solubility to make it more effective in its actions. Protects the liver and helps eliminate toxins. Prevents inflammation. Stimulates the processes that generate new liver cells for regeneration. It is an antioxidant, stimulating the production of glutathione in the liver and helps in the digestion of fats.
Betaine: participates in the synthesis of Methionine in the liver and in its cycle, in addition to helping in the synthesis of necessary substances in the body such as L-carnitine.
L-Methionine: amino acid necessary in hepatic metabolism for the synthesis of antioxidants such as glutathione and S-adenosylmethionine, which is hepatoprotective. – Zinc: prevents liver inflammation and fibrosis and protects the liver from external aggressors with its antioxidant function.
Vitamin E: as an antioxidant. It acts together with Zinc and Methionine, which work in a different but synergistic way.
Vitamins of group B: for proper liver function.
MODE OF ADMINISTRATION:
- Administer 2.5 ml once a day for every 5 kg of weight for at least one month. Rest for 5 days and repeat the administration 3 times. It can be administered for longer periods continuously with veterinary supervision.
