INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

Unfold the mattress on the bed. Secure it with the trim tabs. Air tubes should be at the foot of the bed

Using the built-in hooks, securely hang the compressor at the foot end of the bed or place it on a flat, smooth surface

Connect the air feed tube to the air outlet of the mattress and to the compressor, ensuring that the tubes are not twisted

Connect the compressor to the electricity source and turn it on. You should feel a soft sound and vibration from the compressor as it is inflating the mattress.

Wait around 20 minutes until the mattress is completely inflated

Use the pressure levels to provide greater comfort to the patient, taking into account the patient's weight according to the following information.

Check if the pressure range is adequate. Slide your hand at the level of the patient's buttocks, between the alternating mattress and the mattress of the bed (or the box spring if applicable), there should be a free space of approximately 2.5 to 4cm.

For the most part, this is usually the most chosen option and the one that achieves the best results since these mattresses are made using a material called polyvinyl chloride, better known as PVC.

Inside, it has small ducts, called cells or cells.

Through them the idea is to reduce the pressure caused in certain areas of the body, thereby trying to encourage blood flow.
