INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Adjusting the height of the crutch

• Open the anti-ejection locking tab and remove the locking clip located on the side of the tube by pressing the edges with your thumbs outside of the clip.
• Slowly slide the lower tube to the desired height. Standing upright, your arms should be bent 30º and the top of the arm support should reach your waist.
• Lock the down tube by reinserting the locking clip. To do this, the perforations of the upper and lower tubes must coincide.

Overcoming an obstacle 

The hitch system ACCESS crutches are reversible and each head consists of two hooks and two rods. Depending on whether the ladder is on their right or left, the user can fix one crutch on the other indifferently.

• With one hand, hold the "ported" crutch to fix it on the crutch "carrier". To do this, its hook must be inserted over the rod of the supporting crutch, that is, the one that will support the user.
• Stabilize the fixation of the "ported" crutch by inserting it into the notch of the crutch " support".
• Make sure that the crutches are correctly fixed on each other in a stable manner.
• With one hand, lean on the handrail to overcome obstacles and with the other, support yourself normally on the supporting crutch.

Supporting the crutches on a vertical surface

• Place the two heads of the crutch.
• Tilt one of the crutches at a right angle so that the two notches face each other.
• Snap the two notches into each other.
• Lower the crutch at an angle.
• Make sure both crutches are securely attached.
• Leave the crutches in a standing position against a flat surface.

Resting the crutches on a flat, horizontal surface

• Rest the lower part on the handle support by joining both hooks O
• Support with the top of the head of the crutch.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

During use:

• grip the handle firmly
• hold the crutch as vertically off the ground as possible
• don't place the tip of the crutch too far away from the body
• watch out for the risk of fingers being trapped when folding or unfolding the handle
