Horsetail is a plant that grows in humid places and its name refers to the similarity of its shape to horse mane. It can grow up to 60 cm and has articulated stems, which can be sterile or fertile. It is rich in many trace elements, such as silica, potassium, magnesium, chlorine and sodium, among others. These are present in sterile stems, which are selected to obtain our extract. The plant is also rich in flavonoids.
