We created Natura Siberica in 2007 with one purpose: to make known to the world the extraordinary properties of Siberian plants and herbs through a brand of natural cosmetics that respects the territory and the Siberian population.
The wild herbs and plants that grow in Siberia have survived for centuries extreme weather conditions of up to -50ºC in winter and +30ºC in summer, strong winds and heavy snowfall. To survive these adverse conditions, Siberian herbs and plants have powerful vital potential: they have powerful antioxidants and synthesize large amounts of protective active substances such as vitamins and minerals.
At Natura Siberica we use these herbs and flowers with unique properties to produce effective and very special cosmetics that look great on your skin and hair. But we don't do it in any way.
We combine modern processing and production technologies in our laboratories and factories with ancestral and environmentally friendly procedures in the collection of plants. At Natura Siberica we are firmly committed to purchasing wild Siberian plants in an ethical and responsible manner in order to help maintain the way of life of the populations of Siberia and the Far East.
Our plants and fruits come either from wild collection or from our own organic farms where the local population works. Most of the wild herbs used in Natura Siberica have been certified by ICEA as organic (for example rhodiola, snowy cladonia, Siberian geranium, Asiatic yarrow, Siberian julienne or Siberian crepe).
The plants we use are hand-picked from their natural habitat or from our organic farms. It is the same "gathering" of herbs, roots and fruits that our ancestors have carried out for years.
The unique nature of herbs that grow without being cultivated (in natural growing conditions, without external stimulation, and therefore without harmful substances in their composition) is that they overcome the process of natural selection: only the strongest plants, rich in nutrients and active components, survive.
