More information about Heel

Since its inception, Heel has been driven by a spirit of curiosity and innovation. Created in Berlin in 1936, its founder, Dr. Hans-Heinrich Reckeweg, a restless and creative thinker. A doctor who not only developed new drugs using exclusively natural substances, but also promoted a therapeutic approach based on the use of these natural drugs in order to help the body activate its self-regulatory mechanisms.

But for Dr. Reckeweg it wasn't enough to see that his medications and therapies worked; he also wanted to know why they did it. Scientific research in natural medicine became an integral part of what Heel is. Thanks to its research-based approach and innovations in the development of therapeutic products and solutions, Heel has continued to grow and prosper. The company moved to Baden-Baden in southern Germany in 1954 and became part of DELTON in 1977.

Since then we have not abandoned the path of growth and internationalization. From our headquarters in Baden-Baden (Germany) we cooperate with subsidiaries and distributors all over the world. Our founder was convinced that natural medicine had a fundamental role in healthcare. His vision laid the foundation for modern medicine, and Heel continues to be at the forefront of these developments.
