The American cranberry (cranberry or Vaccinium macrocarpon) is used throughout the world as a highly valuable food supplement, especially among the female public. Many products are developed based on the juice of this fruit, but most of them contain high levels of sugar that aim to disguise the acidic flavor of the berry. Details
A good cranberry extract should contain high levels of proanthocyanidins (PACs), but we find that most products do not provide the necessary amounts (at most, they reach 36 mg of PACs per daily dose).
Bearberry and Birch are two plant species highly valued for their diuretic, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, recommended in the treatment of urinary infections.
Blueberry + D-mannose Complex from Airbiotic contains, per capsule, 125 mg of standardized PACs, which is equivalent to more than three times the amounts normally used. In addition, vitamin C has been added, which strengthens the immune system and helps keep mucous membranes in good condition. It also contains 300 mg of D-Mannose.
