Description
Sterile, waterproof barrier: Protects the wound or IV insertion point from external contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, blood and body fluids. In vitro testing demonstrates that the clear sheet provides a barrier against viruses 27 nm in diameter or larger if the dressing remains intact and leak-free. The breathable sheet allows oxygen to enter and moist vapor to escape. The frame style of the dressing allows for easy, precise application and reduces the chance of it sticking to gloves or yourself.
